Amos Abbott

2017 Code Gratitude Award Recipient

Amos is a Mount Blue High School graduate with an exciting future ahead of him. He is heading to Central Maine Community College where he will be studying criminal justice.

Amos has wanted to be a police officer since as long as he can remember. And he’s already getting a head start, studying Maine laws and taking Jiu Jitsu class to get ready for the police academy.

Amos says the thought of being able to change and save lives is his absolute dream job. Congratulations Amos!

Michael Toth

2017 Code Gratitude Award Recipient

During his time at Sanford High School Michael was already volunteering at the Kennebunk Fire Department where he is still active today.

He has wanted to be a paramedic since he was little and plans to pursue that goal this fall at Southern Maine Community College, where he will study fire science and paramedicine.

Michael says it gives him great gratitude to know he can make a difference in someone’s life on any given day. Congratulations Michael!

Joseph Bowering

2016 Code Gratitude Award Recipient

During his time at Mount Blue High School in Farmington, Joe was active in sports, carried a consistent high honors distinction and actively volunteered in his community.

Joe was accepted to Husson College where he will pursue a 5 year dual degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. His dream is to join the FBI. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments Joe!
