Scholarship Application Process
Code Gratitude Scholarship Fund
The Code Gratitude Scholarship Fund has been created to invest in and inspire our future protectors. Awards will be granted to Maine high school seniors who are going into the military, studying fire science, criminal justice or going into other future protectors careers.
Deadline for the scholarship application is May 1
of the applicant’s senior year of high school
Incomplete applications may not be considered. If any question does not apply to you in this application please put N/A in the space.
You will receive an email to confirm receipt of your application.
Scholarship winners will be notified by email before May 30 of the applicant’s senior year of high school.
Scholarships funds will be disbursed to recipients before June 15 of the applicant’s senior year of high school.
Number and amount of awards will vary based on the decision of the Code Gratitude Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship candidates should be Maine high school seniors applying to attend a post-secondary institution.
Focus of study should be geared toward pursuing a career in the military, law enforcement, Fire, EMS, or other protector careers.
Applicant must submit the following
A copy of the most recent high school transcript with cumulative grade point average.
Copy of a letter as evidence of registration in an accredited post secondary institution or program.
