Maine Memorial Company
10% off the price of a monument
Maine Memorial Company was started in 1919 by Michael DiMatteo. His grandson Paul DiMatteo is the third generation of stone carvers to run the business. You may have seen some of the work this company has designed. For example, the Portland Firefighters memorial at the Central Fire Station, or the 911 Memorial at Fort Allen Park which Maine Memorial Company made and donated to the City of Portland. Paul is the only Certified Memorialist (through the Monument Builders of North America) in Maine. He was also inducted into the American Institute of Commemorative Art in 2015. This invitation only group recognizes the industry’s best memorial designers, of which there are fewer than fifty living members in the world. Working along with Paul is Memorial Counselor Tony Tirabassi. When you visit Maine Memorial Company you will recognize the knowledge and experience Paul and Tony have to help you design a fitting tribute to your loved one.
